ABOUT THE COLLEGE:
Andhra Loyola College was  established in the year 1954. Throughout these 63 years, Andhra Loyola College has unfailingly occupied a premier position in imparting higher education with integral formation which  involves academic excellence, spiritual  growth, social commitment and value-based  leadership.
Our Jesuit education demands that our college forms “men and women for others” and mould them as a global citizens with competence, conscience and compassionate commitment special concern is shown towards the socially and economically marginalized students. 
It was the only College in the Telugu states to have been selected under the Star College Schemeby the DBT, Govt. of India. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited our College in March 2017 for the third Cycle under the new grading system at A+ Grade with a CGPA of 3.66/4.00.  This is the best CGPA for the Telugu states.


ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The department of Electronics was established in the academic year 1989 in Andhra Loyola College with a mission to educate the students for a career of leadership and innovation in Electronics & related fields. To expand the base of  electronics  knowledge  and developing  technology to serve the needs of society.
The department has been revising and updating the course contents and laboratory facilities from time to time keeping pace with changes in technology and in meeting the growing needs of the industry. In this regard the department has been organizing workshops, seminars, hands on training programs, industrial & educational tours in every academic year. At present  the department is running two courses namely B.Sc. Electronics & B.Sc. Electronics Technology.
