DEPARTMENT EVENTS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2018-2019

Event-I
Orientation to First year students
               On 12th June 2018 Department organize an Orientation program for I year B.Sc. Electronics (AEC) and B.Sc. Electronics Technology (AELT) students.
In this department introduces our department staff members and brief explanation about usage of various components and equipment in the lab.
Event-II
Workshop on “Soldering Techniques
From 28th August to 14th September 2018 department of electronics arranged a workshop on “Soldering Techniques” for first year (AELT) students.
In this program students had experience on different soldering tools and they learn about soldering techniques. In this 60 students got benefited in how to make perfect soldering on PCBs.
Event-III
Educational visit to “effe visit”
On 31thAugust 2018, the department arranged an educational visit to “Efftronics” M.G road, Vijayawada and “effe LED’s” at Benz circle for DELT students.
 Effe is an LED lightning show room where different LED lights were displayed after visiting this show room students got clear idea about different colour temperature of white light and appearance, different solid state luminous controlling of intensity of white light using mobile application. Ambience of white light model house lighting design
25 students of DELT took part in this which was led by Mr. B. Balaji Bhanu.

Event-IV
Motivational Speech on How to crack the IT Jobs
On 17th November 2018, the department arranged Motivational Speech on How to crack the IT Jobs for DEC of 42 students. The outgoing students of DEC Mr. Shaik and Mrs.Tejaswi presently working in Infosys are interacted with students of present DEC students and guide the students regarding campus interviews and competitive exams related.

Orientation Programme on Research Methodology
            Orientation on Research Methodology to all the final year DEC of 42 students conducted on 17-11-2018, Saturday with an eminent resource personality Dr. Ch. Srinivasu, M.Sc.,M.Phil.,Ph.D., Reader in Physics, ALC, VJA- 8.

Industrial Visit
Industrial trip to Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited, by the first year students AEC of 56 along with two staff on 27th November 2018.

Workshop on Basic Electronics
In association with Teck Team Solutions, Visakhapatnam, Conducted a Workshop on Basic
Electronics for I B.Sc. Electronics Students from 3rd to 4th of December 2018 for a group of 56 students of AEC section and 5rd to 6th of December 2018 for a group of 54 students of AEL section
       
       
           
Event-VIII
Workshop on Embedded Systems
A two days workshop on “Role of Transducers and Programmable Devices in IoT Applications” from 4th December to 5th December 2018 arranged by the department of Electronics for DEC students in association with  Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology under Embedded Systems Research Group. In this program Prof.M. Ramakrishna, HOD, Dept. of ECE, T. Lakshmi Narayana, Co-ordinator trained students of 37 on programming examples Aurdino in this workshop.
       
       

Event-IX
Workshop on Basics of PLC
The ASSDC in collaboration with SIEMENS conducted workshop on Basics of PLC held at Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology which was arranged by the Department of Electronics from 21st January to 28th January 2018 for DEC students. In this 37 students of DEC participated and trained on PLC.
       
       

Event-X
Technoesis 2019
The department of Electronics of Andhra Loyola College organized a “NATIONAL LEVEL QUIZ, PROJECT EXPO, PAPER & POSTER PRESENTATION” (TECHNOESIS 2018-2019) for B.Sc. degree students on 21st  February 2019 in which nearly  70   students of various colleges from all over the Nation took part.

PAPER PRESENTATION: This presentation was conducted based on two topics namelyIndustry 4.O” and “Machine learning – Emerging trends in 21st Century”.

Event-XI
Project Exhibition
A Project Exhibit held at department of Electronics on 23rd February 2019 by III B.Sc. students DEC of 37 members are participated in this event. Total of 13 projects were displayed by the students.



STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS
§  Mr. M. Chandrasekhar (NEC-50) won 2nd Prize in PROJECT EXPO competition of CHEMP’S 2K18 organised by Department of Electronics held on 4th December 2018 at Aditya Degree College, Satrampadu, Eluru.
     
§  Ms. B. Chandana Devi (NEC-21) secured 1st Prize in POSTER PRESENTATION competition of INNOVATING MINDS organised by Department of Electronics & Statistics held on 23rd January 2019 at Sri Durga Malleswara Siddartha Mahila Kalasala, Vijayawada.
§  Mr. M. Chandrasekhar (NEC-50), V. Paul Timothy (NEC 51), K. Pavan Kumar (NEC-54) team won 1st Prize in QUIZ competition of TECHFEST 2019 organised by Department of Electronics held on 23rd January 2019 at Sri Ramakrishna Degree College, Nandyal.
§  Mr. M. Chandrasekhar (NEC-50), secured 1st Prize in PAPER PRESENTATION competition of TECHFEST 2019 organised by Department of Electronics held on 23rd January 2019 at Sri Ramakrishna Degree College, Nandyal.

§  Mr. E. Hanock (DEC-19) secured 2nd Prize in CIRCUITRIX competition of INFOSTAV 2K19 organised by Department of Electronics held on 6th February 2019 at Nalnda Degree College, Vijayawada.

§  A team of three V. Vineeth (NEC 47), M. Chandrasekhar (NEC 50) and K. Pavan Kumar (NEC 54) won 1st Prize in QUIZ competition of ELECTRO VISION 2K19 organised by Department of Electronics held on 20th February 2019 at P.B.Siddhartha College of Arts & Science, Vijayawada.


§  Mr. V. Paul Timothy (NEC 51), won 1st Prize in CIRCUIT MAKING competition of ELECTRO VISION 2K19 organised by Department of Electronics held on 20th February 2019 at P.B.Siddhartha College of Arts & Science, Vijayawada.

§  Mr. E. Hanock (DEC 19) and A Sai Krishna (DEC 21), won 1st Prize in PROJECT EXPO competition of ELECTRO VISION 2K19 organised by Department of Electronics held on 20th February 2019 at P.B.Siddhartha College of Arts & Science, Vijayawada.
